Why support us?

In 2007 we helped 206 people with diabetes most of whom were children and 95.02% of all funds spent were given directly to others in need.  Our combined costs for program administration and business operating expenses were only 4.98% of our expenses.

Print/View a checklist of our diabetes assistance programs and compare what we do to any other program,  organization -- government or private -- and see why what we do is both unique among the diabetes helping industry and why so many people turn to us for help.

Ballerinas #1 was hand-delivered to a darling girl who never stops smiling. Alyssa was diagnosed on September 16, 2006 with type 1 diabetes, just before her third birthday.

The quilt was made by Lahle from Islets of Hope and hand-delivered (nice to meet another family in our SoCal area!) on October 15, 2006.

Alyssa, even diabetes couldn't steal her smile!

Alyssa was diagnosed on Sept 16th. We spent 4 days in the hospital. She turned 3 on Oct. 11th. She has been so brave. Its a daily struggle.

C.G., Alyssa's mom, Corona, CA
