In 2007 we helped 206 people with diabetes most of whom were children and 95.02% of all funds spent were given directly to others in need. Our combined costs for program administration and business operating expenses were only 4.98% of our expenses.

Puppy Parade was sent to Taylor in Fairfax Station, VA. Taylor was diagnosed at the age of 10 in October of 2006. The quilt was made by Lahle of Islets of Hope and her daughter, Elizabeth (age 7, who also has type 1 diabetes). Shipped 10/30/2006. |
My son Taylor was diagnosed 2 1/2 weeks ago (in October 2006). He is ten. He was very depressed the first week, and still cries when we ask him to talk about it. He is a HUGE dog lover, and when I saw the puppy quilt, I knew this was made for him! This will truly brighten his day, and I am sure he will treasure it forever.
