Information supplied by this organization - We are the healthcare program of a charity in Martinsville, Henry County, and Patrick County, Virginia.  We give free diabetes education classes, and try to find free or discounted diabetes supplies for the uninsured or underinsured people in our area. We used to be a manufacturing/textile center, but all the mills and most of the factories have shut down. When people lost their jobs, most also lost their health insurance and any prescription assistance. We need donations of items we can pass along to those in need including meters, test strips, books, magazines, etc.

We cannot dispense medicine (i.e., insulin or oral diabetes medications).  If you need any additional information, please email or call Suzanne Britt at (276) 956-3587.  Thank you very much.
