Tax receipt for donations? Yes. We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and therefore are able to supply a tax receipt for the goods.
Information supplied by this organization - The Family Care Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center. We receive some Federal funds, some money from grants, etc. and we treat the homeless, uninsured, indigent, and under-insured.
The physician can make an excellent evaluation of the patient, using advanced lab tests, etc. but if the patient cannot get the medicines or supplies to carry out the treatment plan, all is for naught.
For this reason, we would be grateful for any donations of new, unexpired diabetes supplies you can send that we can give to diabetic patients in need.
