Wyoming (WY) diabetes statistics and diabetes death rates:

  • 5.1 out of every 100 adults in Wyoming has diabetes, ranking it 47th lowest in the nation for the ratio of people with diabetes in the general population.
  • 30.2 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Wyoming are due to diabetes, ranking WY as the 11th highest state with deaths from diabetes.
  • In 2005, 24,000 adults  in Wyoming were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007, 7% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
