  • 5.2 out of every 100 adults in Wisconsin has diabetes, ranking it 46th lowest in the nation for the ratio of people with diabetes to the general population.
  • 23.3 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Wisconsin are due to diabetes, ranking Wisconsin 43rd lowest in the nation for diabetes-related deaths.
  • In 2005, 256,000 Wisconsin adults were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007 7% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
