Missouri diabetes statistics and death rates:

6.7 out of every 100 adults in Missouri has diabetes, ranking it 23rd highest in the nation for the ratio of people with diabetes to the general population.
26.7 out of every adult 100,000 deaths in Missouri are due to diabetes, ranking Missouri 23rd in the nation for diabetes-related deaths.
In 2005, 325,000 Missouri adults were diagnosed with diabetes and by 2007 8% of the total adult population had been diagnosed with diabetes.
