At IPump everyone who submits an application gets individualized attention and a chance to explain why they are having trouble -- we don't just look at income and say "sorry, you make too much." Site Sponsors

Please compare our programs to other organizations If you have come to our site chances are pretty good you, a loved one, or somone you know has diabetes so we won't give you all the horror statistics relating to diabetes. You are here because you already care ... we care, too. We realize that there are a lot of very important causes to support not the least of which is finding a cure for diabetes. But we focus on good works that literally keep people alive while waiting for that cure. Your dollars today will literally prevent someone from dying from diabetes and give them a fighting chance to avoid long-term complications. Next to finding a cure there isn't anything grander you could do for someone with diabetes than to provide them with insulin and medical supplies.
IPump is truly unique among the diabetes helping industry because we do things different from other organizations. Instead of "criteria" we have a philosphy: We believe that without insulin and supplies someone with diabetes can go blind, suffer kidney damage, loose a limb or even die. We also believe that to turn someone away without first knowing their whole story simply because they make $100 over agency standards of poverty isn't fair to people trying to make ends meet.
We know that people with above poverty incomes can still have medical expenses that make them artificially poor. These families are the ones most often denied help -- even when it is desperately needed -- by programs that place the most emphasis on income.
We offer assistance addressing virtually all diabetes care needs through one organization whereas others are only able to specialize (i.e., other organizations may have an insulin subsidy program, offer free supplies but not both). And, we are one of the only organizations that take donations of all makes of insulin pumps (not just one brand), recertifies them, and then gives them away for free. There may not be a cure for diabetes but today you can help us in our fight to put an end to one cause of death from diabetes – the lack of medical care, insulin, and diabetes supplies for those who cannot afford them.

Smiling because caring people like you support our programs! Compare IPump's Assistance Programs to Other Organizations Print/View a checklist of our programs and compare what we do to any other program, organization -- government or private -- and see why we are so proud of what we do. The purpose is not to say we are better or that our work is necessarily more important than what others do to help. But we do hope it will help you in your decision to give -- so many people rely on us because they have already been turned away elsewhere. Thank you -- Donors, Sponsors & Affiliates We are truly, truly grateful to our many supporters. Without help from others we could not continue giving assistance to diabetics in need.
