Quilters needed! Due to an increasing demand in the number of requests for free comfort quilts for children with diabetes, our founder and her daughters are having a hard time keeping up with sewing so many quilts. We appreciate seamstresses of all skill levels.  More information.

Publication Specialist - We need volunteers with strong editing skills who can proofread publications and our website for grammar, typographical errors, etc.

Spanish-Speaking Translators - We need volunteers to help us translate our website, publications, and applications into Spanish.

Director of Online Communities - A volunteer is needed to assist in the technical aspects of list administration for IPump's online communities. This person needs to understand how to navigate in Mailman software. The time involved for this position varies, but is expected to be about 1 hours per week after the lists are initially set up (about 10 hours work to finish completing this process).

Committees - We are in process of forming committees and would love to have your help. Volunteer to be a Committee Chairperson or Member.

Client Liaisons - We need articulate, caring persons to write follow-up letters to those we help to make sure that they have what the need.  You will be trained for this simple but important position and given an IPump e-mail address.  Excellent "people" skills are a must!

Professional services - Volunteer your professional services!  We are in need of the following donated services:  legal professionals; physicians (general advice and to contribute to our medical forum); web and SEO professionals (knowledgeable lay people also welcomed!); grant writers and those with any sort of fundraising experience; seamstresses of all skill levels to sew quilts; web editors to check over our website for typographical errors, grammar, and bad links; writers for web content.

Sometimes we have to purchase supplies.  Because our funding is so limited we need to use the cheapest sources possible.  We have been using Hocks Online for a while and were pleased with their service and prices.
