Islets of Hope for persons with diabetes

The Ehrlich Law Firm

We strive to provide assistance to qualifying persons with diabetes throughout the United States by giving away free supplies that have been donated to us.

More than 1/3 of
      all patients with
      diabetes cannot
      afford their supplies.

        We give free supplies
        to  others in need.

IPump.org, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity.  Your financial donations and gift in kind donations are tax deductible.

About Donations

IPump.org, Inc. is not responsible for any donations sent to us that are not received by us, or that are damaged in the mail.  We suggest you send donations via a carrier that can offer you a tracking number and that you purchased additional insurance if the value of your item exceeds the carrier's standard, free insurance coverage (usually $100.00).

We do not pay for shipping costs nor can we reimburse you for shipping costs; however, you may be able to deduct the cost of shipping donated supplies to us (we include a line on your tax receipt for shipping your costs).  Please understand that we are genuinely grateful for all donations but we have a very limited operating budget and need to spend every penny we can directly on helping clients in need.

We send itemized receipts for all in-kind donations we receive.  We are not appraisers and therefore, cannot put a monetary value on your donation.  It is the responsibility of those who donate in-kind goods to us to value them.  We do keep record of your donation (itemized) in case the IRS should question the value that you assign.

We send hard-copy receipts via U.S. Mail to all donors.  If you have not received a receipt it is your responsibility to contact us and let us know.

About Our Assistance Programs & Services

We rely exclusively on the goodwill of those who donate financially and who donate in-kind goods (supplies, insulin pumps, professional time, etc.) to us.

We offer services, assistance, and free diabetes supplies to those in need.  However, simply applying for any service or assistance is not a promise, contract, or guarantee -- either implied, intended, expressed, or given -- that you will receive any assistance from us whatsoever.

Our ability to help clients is limited to our available funding at any given time and limited to the supplies and quilts that we have on hand.

We reserve the right to deny anyone deemed suspicious or who submits incomplete applications or who provides false information or who attempts to apply for assistance they are not eligible for through IPump.org, Inc.

All information you provide to us is held in strictest confidence.  However, if you apply for assistance or attempt to apply for assistance through us and provide information with the intent or purpose of fraud or that results in either an actual crime of fraud or in any way demonstrates or indicates attempted fraud, your information can be given to legal authorities  including police, investigators, courts, and/or attorneys or other legal professionals as permitted by law.

Anyone attempting to commit fraud, or who does commit fraud, either intentionally or unintentionally may be subject to legal prosecution.  To avoid this liability, simply complete and submit applications with accurate and truthful information
