Brooke age 7, has type 1 diabetes.

We said Yes! to Brooke in 2007

n 2007 95.02% of all funds spent were given directly to others in need.  Our combined program administration costs and business operating expenses were only 4.98% of our expenses.

We helped children like Brooke, age 7. She has type 1 diabetes and needed testing supplies and insulin. But her parents were down by government assistance programs and by other charities.

Please read Brooke's story to see why no one else would help this child with nine siblings - but why iPump did!

* "Bad" donations are items that were sent to us but had already expired and therefore could not be used (we have actually had well-intended donors send us test strips that expired as long ago as 6 years!).  Other "bad" donations include items we are prohibited from giving away (by federal and state law) such as anything contaminated by blood (i.e., used lancing or site insertion devices, pens, etc.) or items that have been damaged or may not be sterile.

How We Are Able to Help So Many People on Such a Tight Budget

  • We receive generous donations of in-kind diabaetes supplies every day.

  • Volunteers have donated more than 10,000 hours of their time to keep our administrative costs low.

Thank you to all who not only care enough to take time to send us supplies, but for all the wonderful donors who ship these supplies at their own expense.  And, to our volunteers who give their time freely to help others in need.

Why We Still Need Cash Donations

We give away all usable donated supplies free of charge to people in need.  Our shipping costs for these supplies is enormous.  We must pay for insurance, office space, utilities, and salaries.

If you can help us financially, please consider doing so.  Your cash donations will enable us to keep getting your in-kind donations into the hands of those who need them most!
