I wish to personally thank all of our donors and volunteer quilters for all that they do for iPump — and for those we help. Without the donations of supplies from other people we would not be able to help so many people.
Diabetes supplies are expensive. For people who do not have insurance the cost of diabetes care can average as much as $20,000 per year. We too, could not afford to buy all the supplies that we give away — 80% of all we give to others in need comes directly from supply donations sent to us from other people living with diabetes.
And thank you to our wonderful Board who has provided more than 98% of all funding needed to keep iPump going and has volunteered more than 12,000 hours in professional time.
Treating diabetes is not an option. Without treatment people with diabetes suffer terrible complications or die. Thanks to the compassion of our donors there are more than 10,000 people diabetes who now have the supplies and insulin they need to live.
Thanks to you, now they do have options.
