Donor Praise
I wish to personally thank our donors for all that they do for IPump — and for those we help. Without the donations of supplies from other people we would not be able to help so many people.
Diabetes supplies are expensive. For those without insurance the cost of diabetes care can average as much as $20,000 per year. We too, could not afford to buy all the supplies that we give away — 80% of all we give to others in need comes directly from supply donations sent to us from other people living with diabetes.
And thank you to our wonderful Board who has provided more than 98% of all funding needed to keep IPump going and has volunteered more than 6,000 hours in professional time. (Even free supplies cost a lot to ship and recertifying insulin pumps costs us no less than $500 per pump.)
Treating diabetes is not an option. And, thanks to your compassion, there are hundreds of people with diabetes who now have the supplies and insulin they need to live. Thanks to you, now they do have options.
With deepest gratitude,
