We Do Not Provide Assistance With The Purchase of CGMS or CGMS Supplies
Unfortunately, iPump does not have the financial resources to help with continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS) or their supplies. Twice we have received donated sensors but they were all expired.
However, some insurance companies are beginning to pick up the tab for CGMS and supplies. But the key to getting approved is using the billing codes. Beginning January 1, 2008 the billing codes for Medtronic's CGMS that are specific to CGM usage are:
- A9276 for the sensor
- A9277 for the transmitter
- A9278 for the receiver
