IPump was founded in 2006 by Lahle Wolfe, a diabetic, single mother of four. When her youngest daughter was also diagnosed with diabetes the medical bills piled up. Wolfe struggled to make ends meet but was unable to find assistance.
Once faced with having to
choose between food and medical needs, she triumphed over her own hardships and
now devotes her life to helping other diabetics in need.

Help Keep iPump's Doors Open!
In order for iPump to keep its doors open we need to raise $50,000.00 to fund our 2009 operating expenses. We must raise $15,000 by June 1, 2009 or we will lose our office space.
We have no paid staff and have cut back on every expense possible and have already had to close our programs to adults (we are still helping children). If you can help us, please do so as generously as possible.

Your donations you helped us to help Brooke, a 7-year-old child with diabetes no one else would help!
Since 2006 almost ALL iPump's expense have been paid for by our CEO. She cannot continue to work for free and pay all iPump's expense in 2009 and we need your help to say afloat!

Skip loves his new Cozmo insulin pump made possible by iPump!
In 2007 and 2008 combined, iPump received less than $1,500 in cash donations. So founder, Lahle Wolfe gave $60,000 to personally ensure iPump's success.

Your donations enable us to help real people with diabetes. In fact, thousands of people!

Important Tax Receipts Message. All tax receipts have been mailed (as of 02/15/2009). If you have not received your tax receipt please email lahle@ipump.org.
We had many donations come in this year that had no contact information inside or that had obscurred return addressess. As a result we had some donations that we could not send a receipt for or that were returned to us as "address unknown."
Please do not call about tax receipts as there is no one to take your call (iPump has no paid staff).
